Gridlock Garden
★★★★★ 4.5
Gridlock Garden dresses up a tight logic puzzle as a gardening game, and it's charming as heck. Each level asks you to route water and light across a grid of tiles so every plant blooms. Early puzzles are gentle; later ones had me staring at the screen for a good five minutes.
The difficulty curve is beautifully judged. It introduces one new mechanic at a time, lets you get comfortable, then combines everything in ways that feel fair rather than mean. There's an undo button that never punishes experimentation, which I love in a puzzler.
It's the kind of game I keep on my phone permanently. Perfect for a train ride, and calming without being brainless.
